Today in YWIC, I had the most wonderfer time evah. I mean, I even managed to finish NOT finish my house!

Making the walls in google SketchUp wanted me to kill someone..... probably because I was doing it wrong..... BUT, the dog house I did before was OK, and the cat perch was also 'OK'......

Overall, making a house in Google SketchUp wasn't that great......... >_<

The Stars

Today in YWIC, we made different examples of animals going to higher ground because of a flood. We tested different things to make it work differently. We changed the animals, the mountains, and the colors. Also, we made some of the animals 'die' and be replaced by a baby. It was quite interesting to test all of these things! :D

Circuits

Today in YWIC.... we made paper circuit things.

The first thing we made was a simple light. The next thing we did was a birthday cake candle light stuff  (WHAT'S WITH ALL THE BIRTHDAY STUFF?!). The third thing we did was by ourselves. I made a little bright eyed cat. The cat had one eye pink and the other one white. Drawing the cat was VERY FRUSTRATING! I made like 4 other copies before I finally got it right.... >_<

Robots....

Meh, I don't feel like writing, but.......................

Anyway, today in YWIC, we programmed little robot things (PicoRobots...?) to do stuff. The first project we did was a MAGIC LIGHT! That little program varied light color from how bright the light was. The second thing we did was a catapult. We programmed it so the outside of the computer product would catapult a foam ball. The third thing we did was a birthday song and candles. When the program was started, the speaker would start to sing happy birthday (through an instrument) while a candle went on. When you blew into the receptor, the candle would go out.

Today was pretty fun! :)

HTML

Today in YWIC, we started to use Notepad to make Html stuff. We customized our little things and had lots of fun! BUT, we still need to finish our own HTML on Monday. My HTML is about adopting a bunny rabbit. :D

On the other hand, we went on a mini field trip to Barnes & Nobles for some donuts. We never got those mini donuts. :( BUT, we're going to get bigger than mini donuts on Monday, so it's all good. ^_^ 

RAINBOWS! *-*

Today in YWIC, we made stuff with design blocks. WE HAD RAINBOW COLOR!

Anyway, the first design we did was a thing that went rainbow color and followed your mouse.

The second thing we did together was a color wheel.

The third was this rainbow circle design the went everywhere!

The fourth was a flower like rainbow square thing.

The fifth was words that spun around rainbowly (NOT A WORD) and followed your mouse.

The seventh was red flowers with green stems. ^_^

The 8th was a rainbow spinning square circle rose.

The 9th (which I did by myself) was an orange circle that spun around with little circles on the end.

The 10th was a spinning green circle with more spinning circles that were different colors inside of it. 

The 11th was a rainbow colored spinning sticks that followed your mouse around. :D

Personally, I liked Scratch better (what we did yesterday) than Design Block. It was still fun today, but I thought it was kind of boring. :)

PROGRAMMING!

Today in YWIC, we programmed stuff on Scratch. It was pretty dumb I MEAN FUN! :D Just typos. you know....

The first two things we did was a prince and princess animation where the princess turns into the witch. It was funny. The second thing we did altogether was a crab game where you catch 3 beach balls to win the game. 

The thing my friend and I did was a dance party animation with talking food and a table. It turned out pretty great, but it was kind of frustrating because the music wouldn't work the way it was suppose to. 

Anyway, it was a fun day! :D
